DAVID A. KELLY is a 1974 graduate of American University, where he received his B.S. degree, and was captain of the Lacrosse team.  He received his J.D. degree from Suffolk University School of Law in 1977, and clerked for one year for the South Boston District Court.  Thereafter, he was associated with the firm of Murphy and Beane in New London, CT from 1977 until 1987, where he had extensive trial experience under both the federal and state workers' compensation laws for self-insureds, corporations, and municipalities, including extensive experience under the Longshoreman Act.  He has been at Montstream & May, L.L.P. since 1987 where he has continued to be primarily involved in workers' compensation cases as well as cases under the Longshoreman Act.  He has been a partner in the firm since 1990. He is a Board Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist.
