MARGARET E. CRAWFORD received her B.A. from Fairfield University in 1983 and her J.D. from Western New England College School of Law in 1986.  She was first a staff member then Research Editor of the school’s Law Review.  During law school, she clerked at Howd & Ludorf.  Thereafter she was an associate there from 1986-1990.  For the next ten years she practiced workers’ compensation defense work in the workers’ compensation forum and subrogation claims in the civil forum at Pomeranz, Drayton and Stabnick, first as an associate and then as a member of the firm.  She has argued before the Compensation Review Board and the Appellate and Supreme Courts.  She is published in the Connecticut Bar Association’s Compensation Quarterly.  She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Workers’ Compensation Section.  She joined Montstream and May in 2000 and continues to handle defense of workers’ compensation cases through trial and appeal, as well as subrogation cases.  Attorney Crawford is on the Board of Editors for Compensation Quarterly and has lectured on Workers’ Compensation issues for Lorman Education Services and CT Bar Institute, Inc.  She is Board Certified by the Connecticut Bar Association as a Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law and became a partner in the firm in 2006.
