MELISSA A. MURELLO received her B.S. from Carnegie Mellon University in 1998. She received her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2001. She was admitted to practice in Connecticut in 2001 and to the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut in 2006.  Since joining Montstream and May in October of 2001, she has primarily represented employers in workers’ compensation matters, has trial experience in the Workers’ Compensation Commission and has handled appellate arguments before the Compensation Review Board.  She has also participated in appeals to the Appellate and Supreme Courts of Connecticut.  Attorney Murello is a Board Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist and has lectured on workers’ compensation issues for Lorman Education Services. Ms. Murello is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Connecticut Bar.
